Containers less than and up to 20’ will be reckoned as one TEU for the purpose of tariff.

Containers other than that of standard size requiring special devices/slings/handling charges will be 50% above normal charges. Such containers will also include damage containers and any other type requiring special devices.

Additional ‘Charges for reefer container’ as per 3.8 below as applicable will be charged for reefer containers.
All invoices are issued as due on presentation Failure to pay may cause a lien to be placed on the goods handled at the CFS and the responsible party may be denied further use of the CFS until all outstanding charges have been paid.
The storage charges on abandoned FCL containers / shipper owned containers shall be levied up to the date of receipt of intimation of abandonment in writing or 75 days from the date of landing of container.

   Whichever is earlier subject to the following conditions :

The consignee can issue a letter of abandonment at any time.

If the consignee choose no to issue abandonment, the container Agent / MLO can also issue abandonment letter subject to the condition that

The line shall resume custody of container along with cargo and either take back it or remove it from the CFS premise.

The line shall pay all CFS charges accrued on the cargo and container before resuming custody of the container.
When the container is sized/confiscated by the custom Authorities and the same cannot be destuffed within the prescribed time limit of 75 days, storage charges will cease to apply from the date the custom order release of the cargo subject to lines observing the necessary formalities and bearing the cost of transportation and destuffing. Otherwise , seized/confiscated containers should be removing by the Lines/ Consignee from the CFS premises to the Custom bonded area and in that case the storage charges shall Cease to apply from the date of such removal.

All Chaques / DD's to be drawn favoring "Mundhra Container Freight Station Pvt.Ltd" payable in Gandhidham/Mundhra.

Prior to Movement of Containers/Delivery of Cargo MCFS’s Dues have to be Cleared.

Service Tax and other govt. levies will applicable at the prevailing rates at the time of billing.

Payment of any charges are not a guarantee for service, which is STRICTLY on the completion of all Customs and other statutory formalities

Dishonor Of Cheques Would attract a penalty of Rs.5000/-.

It is presumed that all consignments (Import/Export) Being received at CFS are adequately insured against all possible risk during transportation and storage and the Company (Mundhra CFS) assumes no liability in this respect. An Undertaking from Shipper has to be provided in advance. In case of Export Cargo Like Cotton bales/fabrics/Hazardous/dangerous goods copy of  the valid insurance policy has to be provided in advance.

The cargo details/Weight/Pkgs etc..etc.. declared by shipper on all documents is presumed to be S.T.C.(Said To Contain)

   Notes

Container and cargo storage charges are reckoned on a per day basis.

Cargo storage charges are reckoned from the date of carting or de-stuffing to the date of stuffing or loading, both days inclusive.

Storage Charges for <12 MT of Cargo will be charged @150 Rs.Per CBM(Cubic Meter) Per Day.

Hazardous cargo declaration with all details by shipper may please be provided for safe handling, stacking & segregation norms compliances.MCFS reserves the right for allowing or rejecting specific hazardous commodities in the permises.

Shipping line will be required to pay any custom's overtime required for work done at the CFS.

Movement Request of Export Shall be confirmed 12 hrs prior to the port cutoff.

Cargo requiring any special services,dunnage or lashing materials or additional equipments for handling will be charged to the account of cargo.

MCFS will not accept any SSR charges for export movement submitted within 24 hrs of vessel cutoff and will not be responsible for SSR due to any change in the cut off time.

Delayed Payments will attract interest @ of 24% on the invoice amount.

As per the latest norms of tonnage restriction for road haulage ,any penalties imposed by Govt.Authorities will be recoverable from the concerned party.

Once the Sealed containers have Left the premises of MCFS,MCFS is not liable for any Loss/Damage/Shortage/Moisture Loss.

Lines should ensure that they inspect empty containers when they are brought to the CFS before placing in CFS empty stack. Any requirement for inspection afterwards will be charged as per the service requested.

No Warai Charges will be Applicable / Levied
